Narrative in motion

When I think of stop motion, I think of the movie Coraline. I think of clay figures that slowly move and how time-consuming it is to get each shot.
I knew that I wouldn't be able to get to that level of smooth movement precision, so I decided to go low-fi and use plasticine.
I ended up with two different versions because I wasn't sure if I should crop the desk off or not, after all, it furthers the idea of low-fi, handmade animation, one that is easy and available to everyone.
Thinking back, I probably didn't put enough effort into this project because I wasn't interested in stop motion at all. I rather be taught a bit of actual animation techniques using special software.
